Kale, Ginger & Pineapple “Whole Juice”

Kale, Ginger & Pineapple Whole Juice

This “whole juice” recipe contains the entire fruits and vegetables blitzed up in the blender, not the juicer. This way it contains all the fibre which will help reduce its glycemic load and keep you satisfied for longer. 

½ cup water

5 leaves of kale, stems removed and sliced

½ an orange, peel removed

½ cup fresh pineapple chunks

½ cup cucumber, sliced

1 knuckle of ginger, sliced

2 ice cubes

Yield: about 20oz (2 large servings)


Add ingredients to blender in the order they appear. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to high. Blend for about one minute or until desired consistency is reached. You will need a powerful blender to make this juice. If yours is not up to the job, chop the veggies into smaller pieces.
