- 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup hemp hearts
- 2 tsp of maple syrup
- Shake of cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk (or use unsweetened vanilla almond/soy milk or regular milk)
- 2 cups sliced mango or strawberries or your favourite fruit sliced
- Options: add unsweetened desiccated coconut, a sprinkle of raisins or other dried fruit to enhance your overnight jar.
Add all ingredients (minus the fruit) to one large bowl and stir together. Find two jam jars. Add a few heaping spoonfuls of the quinoa to the bottom of the jars, add a layer of the sliced fruit, repeat ending with the quinoa. Tighten the lid and place in fridge overnight. Jars are ready to eat upon waking.
